Explain Why the constitution.md vs. copilot-instructions.md vs AGENTS.md

Are they comparable/similar where we add the most important rules/instructions for our project?

Is the constitution.md comparable to copilot-instructions.md but "agnostic" to the Coding LLM? (Other than CoPilot)?

Whay about the AGENTS.md coming into the equation as well?

It'd be great to have a comparison discussion and why the approach taken by SPEC-KIT on the constitution.md.

The Agent is not aware of the constitution by default. There is a update-agent-context.sh script, which updates the context (which is AGENTS.md, copilot-instructions.md,...) so that the Agent knows about it (and all the other relevant files). In the end its just an abstraction layer. Thats my understanding of how it works.
