🌳 Issue Arborist Report
Issues analyzed: 68 open issues (not already sub-issues)
Parent issues created
None this run.
Links created
None this run.
Rationale
The backlog is already heavily arborized from prior Issue Arborist runs. A
meta-parent, #1284 "[Parent] Issue Arborist - Issue Group", roots seven
domain parents — #1283 (dependency release-notes), #1286 (compiler
internals/IR/YAML gen), #1321 (MCPG + safe-output tooling), #1428
(safe-output executor E2E coverage), #1549 (recurring non-rate-limit
[aw]workflow failures), #1649 (agent runtime/execution pipeline), and #2076
(self-optimization design follow-ups, extracted from #1061). I checked every
open issue in the dataset against these parents' existing sub-issue lists
(via
get_sub_issues) and confirmed the following are already correctlylinked and need no action: #2307, #2304, #2295, #2290, #2287, #2277 → #1549;
#2270, #2245, #2252→#1283 chain, #2035, #2012, #1834, #1766, #1763, #1632,
#1583, #1378, #1375, #1192, #1081, #987, #867, #866, #451, #384 → #1286;
#2044, #1156, #1103, #1041, #1034, #1027, #621, #471, #381, #254 → #1321;
#2040, #2232 → #1283; #2071, #2070, #2069, #2068, #2067 → #2076; #1798, #793,
#647-adjacent → #1428; #1652, #1818 → #1652 chain; #1486, #860, #432, #237,
#13 → #1649. No duplicate or missing links were found among these.
Suggested (not linked — for maintainer review)
link-work-itemsarea-pathtarget silently fail-opens) and 🔴 Red Team Audit — High: Shell injection via runtimes.lean.toolchain #855 (🔴 Red Team: shell injection via
runtimes.lean.toolchain) are both standalone Red Team Audit findings withno parent. Only 2 issues share this theme — below the 5-issue cluster bar —
but a maintainer may want a lightweight "Red Team Audit findings" parent if
more accumulate.
orchestrator) is thematically adjacent to [Parent] Track and resolve recurring agentic workflow execution failures (non-rate-limit) #1549 (recurring
[aw]workflowfailures), but [Parent] Track and resolve recurring agentic workflow execution failures (non-rate-limit) #1549 scopes GitHub Actions-style
[aw]workflow failuresspecifically, while test(smoke): report scheduled smoke failures as GitHub issues from the orchestrator #1796 is about ADO smoke-pipeline failures with no
agent in the loop — different mechanism and owner, so I did not link it.
enableshould target individual pipeline files) and Allow config overrides e.g. npmrc for built ins #253(config overrides e.g. npmrc for runtimes, already has 1 child: fix(smoke): route multi-repo Cargo through the internal feed #1823) are
both lifecycle/config-surface issues but not a parent/child pair themselves.
compile/job, compile/stage, update_check) remain genuine orphans with no
natural 5+ cluster partner in the current open backlog.
Observations
Feature request: first-class TLA+ / TLC (Java) runtime support #1222, 🔴 Red Team Audit — High: Shell injection via runtimes.lean.toolchain #855, 🧪 Test gap analysis — 3 gaps found in compile/job, compile/stage, and update_check #647, plus Allow config overrides e.g. npmrc for built ins #253 which already has one child). None reaches the
5-issue cluster threshold this run requires for a new parent.
accurate and comprehensive; no drift or missing links were detected.
