Description

Since we added the markdown escape functionality to graph commit messages, we lost multi-line support since it was done in a hacky way.

While you're touching this feature, just wanted to highlight #2621. Would be nice to have an option for overflowing messages to simply render a greyed out ... to keep visual noise down 🙂
