Apply changes when comparing a file from two branches is not working

• GitLens Version: 9.2.1
• VSCode Version: 1.30
• OS Version: Windows 10

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Select two branches for compare
2. Select a file with changes
3. Right click on it and click Apply Changes

Recently and until about a month ago, I've used Apply Changes on the same repo with the same machine many times before and it was working fine.

Edit: went back to version 8.5.6 and it is working fine
