I am using VS Code and GitLens via Remote SSH on a RHEL server, where alas, the latest version of Git available through the package manager is 1.8.3. I mostly just use the blame annotations, which still work fine, so I'm not too concerned about the Git version. However, every time I connect to the remote server I get the version warning popup:

and it continues to appear even though I click the "Don't Show Again" button.
It's only a minor annoyance, and I can live with it; I just thought I would check and see if there's a way to resolve it.
