Welcome to the Configurator documentation.
DesktopXR Configurator is an application used to manage the DesktopXR settings file.
This guide explains how to use the DesktopXR Configurator.
Simply run DesktopXR-Configurator.exe which will launch the application.
Right-click any tile and select “Reassign Keybind.” Then press your chosen key combination. The new keybind will take effect after restarting the DesktopXR session.
Transparency works during VR gameplay. Simply open the desktop to access the configurator, adjust the value, and click Save.
Changing FOV culling settings does not take effect during active VR gameplay. To adjust them, open the Configurator, change the values, and click Save. The new settings will be applied the next time you enter VR.
FocusCore settings can be adjusted during VR gameplay, but FocusCore must be enabled before entering VR. To adjust them, open the desktop view, access the Configurator, change the values, and click Save.
VisionCore works during VR gameplay. Simply open the desktop to access the configurator, adjust the values, and click Save.
The tiles can be used during VR gameplay, making it easier for those who do not have a keyboard nearby.
You can use different icon packs by replacing the files in %appdata%\DesktopXR\icons
