Connect device status to management date properties

Hi Team,

I was wondering if it were possible to connect some date fields to the status of devices like Pc's, Monitors, etc..

Ideally I'd like the following fields to be connected and thus updated together:

If an Item is in service, I'd like the "Start-up date" datefield to be updated to the day the device went into service using the status field.
The same for the Out of service date field, I'd like this field to be filled in automatically when an item goes out of service or when the status is set to "Defect".

My GLPI is not in English so I apologize if any of the names are not fully correct. I've added a picture to show which fields I mean.

All of these fields have options to automatically fill them when an assets gets assigned a specific status.
