Metadata filtering of GLPI objects in Forms

in Forms when using a GLPI Objects type question, it would be very useful to be able to filter the results shown.
use case example:
i have a form for users to log building maintenance tickets, in a prior question we ask the category of maintenance (eg plumbing, electrical, etc) and based on the option chosen we may want to assign a supplier to the ticket, currently the Suppliers item will present the entirety of the supplier list which may be too much for someone to browse through, however if we were able to use the "Third party type" attribute we could filter to only display relevant suppliers for the previously chosen option

I see this question has been raised in issue 23562 but it looks like it hasn't garnered any attention so thought I'd add it here. I believe this would be a really strong feature to add.
