Hi, In my settings, under "When opening files from the Finder", I have "Start slideshow" checked, and "Open new browser window if there is none" unchecked. My expectation was that opening an image from Finder would only launch the slideshow window, completely preventing the browser window from opening. However, I am experiencing the following behavior: When the app is completely closed/quit: Double-clicking a JPG in Finder launches the app, but it still opens both windows: the browser window in the background and the slideshow window on top. When the app is running in the background (active, but all windows were closed via the red X button): Double-clicking a JPG in Finder works exactly as expected—it opens only the slideshow window, without bringing up a new browser window. It seems the "Open new browser window if there is none" setting is ignored on a cold start (when the app is launched from scratch) and only works on a warm start (when the app process is already running). Could you please clarify if this is a known bug or if this behavior is intended? Thank you! |
