I made these diagrams back in August, but I was waiting for #7830 to be merged. In the meantime I showed these diagrams to some people on Discord, and they were very effective, it seems that everyone I showed these diagrams to was able to understand the import process easily (and why they should prefer glTF to FBX when using Blender).

I used Draw.io to make these images. Here is the source code of the images.

This seems like more info than most people will need but I can see this level of detail being useful to some projects or people who just want to know how the engine works. Everything I read and the diagrams make sense to me.
