question: What is the preferred DB for a single user setup

I'm using gogs on a small VPS with 256 MB ram. I'm currently using sqlite for simplicity. What is the best backend db(sqlite/mysql/postgresql) to use for a small deployment such as mine?

If it's just a small install with personal projects, you should be fine with sqlite. gogs doesn't look to be storing anything like commit history in the database, it's mostly just for making the web interface tick.

Add to that it should be reasonably trivial if you needed to move to MySQL/Postgres later on.

There is no recommended database for Gogs, it uses ORM which treats as the same for sqlite/mysql/postgresql.
