I'm using a personal account. They disabled authentication for the Gemini CLI. They completely moved to Antigravity |

It's really upsetting that Google doesn't dedicate any resources towards this. My company (10,000+ employees) just recently began releasing a larger batch of Gemini Enterprise Plus accounts to employees and is jointly communicating the ability to use Gemini Code Assist and Gemini CLI within VSCode (our approved IDE) as our main stack for internal development. Then Google decides it doesn't want to support it. This is an easy fix, guys. It's not like we're asking for new features in an unsupported application. In the Gemini Code Assist/Gemini CLI Standard and Enterprise overview deprecation page it is explicitly written that Enterprise Users aren't affected https://developers.google.com/gemini-code-assist/docs/deprecations/code-assist-individuals "I have a Gemini Code Assist Standard or Enterprise subscription. Am I affected? No, access to Gemini Code Assist IDE extensions and Gemini CLI using Gemini Code Assist Standard or Enterprise subscriptions remain unchanged." How are we not affected when we're not getting support for new Gemini models? |
Uh oh!

The Gemini 3.6 Flash model was released some time ago, but gemini-cli still doesnt support it.
Any idea if it was completely abandoned or will it get access to new models? I can remember Google stating that altho gemini-cli is being replaced with anty, enterprise clients would still receive updates.
