Add option to automatically advance to the next playlist item if a playback error occurs

I use ConcatenatingMediaSource for play 2 media sources.
I wonder can i play second media source if i get error on first ?
Now i get onPlayerError and player don't start play second media source.

That's unfortunately not possible at the moment, but something that also came up internally a while ago. Marking as an enhancement to implement this.

As long as this doesn't exist officially, you can workaround the issue by listening for the error in onPlayerError, remove the failing item from the playlist with concatenatingMediaSource.removeMediaSource and then call player.prepare to restart playback.

It's basically:

1. Add a listener to the player: player.addListener(listener).
2. Create the playlist with a ConcateningMediaSource and prepare the player with player.prepare(mediaSource).
3. Check for errors in onPlayerError.
4. Remove the playlist item which caused the error with concatenatingMediaSource.removeMediaSource(player.getCurrentWindowIndex()).
5. Restart the player by calling player.prepare(mediaSource) again.

Sorry, we can't debug your app in every detail. It's probably better to post such a question on StackOverflow or similar sites. I am also not sure this code is relevant for the issue posted above because it doesn't even use a playlist (i.e. ConcatenatingMediaSource).

Is that possible to restore playback state to STATE_PAUSE(or STATE_NONE) after get DataSourceError without player.prepare(...) ?

If i perform player.prepare(mediaSource) when onPlayerError and i will get an infinity loop.
