New in ADK 2.10.0: deploy your agent straight from adk web!

You no longer need to switch to the terminal to ship an agent. With 2.10.0 you can deploy the agent you're testing in adk web directly from the dev UI.

Deploy targets

The same three that adk deploy supports:

• Agent Runtime: create a new runtime or update an existing one
• Cloud Run: optionally allow unauthenticated calls
• GKE: deploy to your cluster as ClusterIP or LoadBalancer

How to try it

pip install -U google-adk==2.10.0
adk web path/to/agents

Open your agent in the dev UI, choose Deploy, pick a target, and enter a region. The project defaults to your gcloud config. Deploy logs stream live in the UI, and you get the service URL or Agent Runtime resource name when it finishes.

Good to know

• It uses your local gcloud credentials, so make sure gcloud is installed and you're logged in to the target project.
• Deploy is a dev-only feature. It exists only in adk web, not in adk api_server.
• Agents deployed to Agent Runtime now use Agent Runtime sessions and memory automatically. Pass --session_service_uri=memory:// or --memory_service_uri=memory:// to opt out.
