Gemini enterprise generate unique session id on every request

I am facing the exact same issue. It was working until yesterday, and no changes have been made since then. However, it is now sending a new session ID with each request. I don’t think authorization is the problem, since I was using it without authorization earlier as well.

Could you please confirm if this is happening across all environments? Also, are cookies or session headers being sent with each request, and which SDK or API version are you using?
If you’re not already on the latest version of google adk, please try upgrading and let us know if the issue still occurs.This will help us to understand better.

It's working in local with adk web and in vertex ai playground but generating different session id in gemini enterprise

Facing the exact same issue. It was working couple of days ago.

The reason seems to be occurring from this line . If the request from Agentspace does not contain "session_id" then a new session is created. It may be the case that request is sending session as {session:{id: ''}} or sessionId. There is no way to actually know it.
Because of this, the artifact_service and session_service is being replaced by InMemory services.

Printed the keys in the json payload that gemini enterprise sent:

0: "message"
1: "message.role"
2: "message.parts"
3: "message.parts[0].text"
4: "authorizations"
5: "authorizations.google-oauth_*******"
6: "authorizations.google-oauth_*******.access_token"

(Last time it sent the session_id and user_id as well)
