thanks a lot for all the work you’re putting into Dagger!
I wanted to point out a small thing about the current release notes mentioning the breaking changes related to AGP 9.0. As they’re written right now, they can be a bit confusing, especially for less experienced developers.
It kind of reads like everyone has to migrate to AGP 9.0, but there are still plenty of projects out there that use plain old Dagger — no Hilt or anything related 😉
It would be great if the release notes could clarify that the AGP 9.0 breaking change only affects the hiltGradlePlugin, and not Dagger usage in general. I think that would help avoid some unnecessary confusion.
