Testing elemental2 1.4.0-RC1

We've just published elemental 1.4.0-RC1 a release candidate for the upcoming 1.4.0 version.

Java 21 + GWT 2.13.0 + Elemental 1.4.0-RC1 seem to work fine.

I skimmed through the reported API changes for core:

EDIT: a bunch of new APIs in core are using double though they should use int.

Yep we definitely need to come up with a better way to detect them and fix them when new APIs are added.

On closer inspection

produces multiple syntaxes that are incorrect. Looks like it was interpreted as

[ function(T, number=): string ] |symbol|number

rather than

function(T, number=): [ string|symbol|number ]

Good catch, I think this is an issue in the extern file. I already asked the closure compiler team. Could you create an issue in the elemental2 project to track this and continue the conversation there ?

to
