Especially noticeable on mobile with a large element; even a 400x300 element can make it impossible to scroll.

Let's give hooks to let people move around this for now - @smalls will a long-term issue (update: #75) to make this nice. Quick and dirty, potentially including a parameter to use vertical moves for scrolling (instead of for vertical rotation), or ignore events that are in the <canvas> but not on the actual object.

Definitely let's not capture events when controls are disabled.
