Error compiling on Android Studio

When importing into Android Studio version:

Android Studio 3.2.1
Build #AI-181.5540.7.32.5056338, built on October 9, 2018
JRE: 1.8.0_152-release-1136-b06 x86_64
JVM: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM by JetBrains s.r.o
macOS 10.14.1

I get the following error:

No toolchains found in the NDK toolchains folder for ABI with prefix: mips64el-linux-android

This is almost certainly because the NDK no longer supports the MIPS architecture.

Looks like updating the gradle plugin version solves the issue.
