Release list
PrismaFS 1.8.0
Static build for Linux x86_64.
This binary has libfuse3 compiled in it, so it doesn't depend on local libfuse3 version your distro might have installed.
Requirement is glibc 2.36 or newer. Check your glibc version:
ldd --version | head -1
Older than 2.36? Static binary won't run there, so recommendation is that you build from source instead (see README) - source builds with whatever glibc is already on your system, so there is no version requirement then.
- tested on openSUSE Tumbleweed, works on Debian 12+, Ubuntu 24.04+, current Fedora, current openSUSE, Arch, RHEL/Rocky/Alma 9+.
Install:
chmod +x prismafs-1.8.0-linux-x86_64-static
./prismafs-1.8.0-linux-x86_64-static -v
This is early stage alternative to building from source on Linux (which is also simple procedure) and source build instructions can be found in README/docs.
Static build for Linux x86_64, musl (Alpine and other musl-based distros).
This one has musl and libfuse3 both compiled in it, static linked and thus it has no dependency on host glibc or musl version, and no dependency on libfuse3. Runs on Alpine, and on any other Linux distro too, since it doesnt link with system C library at all.
Install:
chmod +x prismafs-1.8.0-linux-x86_64-static-musl
./prismafs-1.8.0-linux-x86_64-static-musl -v
