CFP - Community Input - New Gradle Best Practices #263

@lkasso

Description

@lkasso

Help Us Expand the Gradle Best Practices Guide!

The Gradle, Google, and JetBrains team is working to expand the official Best Practices documentation to cover more real-world scenarios, patterns, and guidance used across the community.

We’d love your help!

Gradle is used in thousands of different environments, including Android, Kotlin Multiplatform, JVM backends, libraries, CI pipelines, large monorepos, small scripts, and more. The best practices evolve as the ecosystem evolves, and the community often discovers patterns before we do.

This issue is a place to suggest new best practices.

How You Can Contribute

Please share any of the following:

  • Best practices you already use
  • Patterns you’ve seen succeed in real projects
  • Anti-patterns you’ve learned to avoid
  • Topics you think the Best Practices docs should cover

Thank You!

Your input directly shapes the guidance developers around the world rely on.
Together, we can make Gradle builds faster, safer, and easier for everyone.
