Hello!

Updates have been slow on this project as I've been busy this summer with my internship and the upcoming finals, as well as focusing more of my free time streaming on Twitch and working on another project similar to this one for Bluesky. That said, I have a lot planned for the next update. Among the dependency updates and small fixes and optimizations, the planned features for v1.3 are:

• Reply to role mention setting
• User blacklist/whitelist setting to control who the bot can respond to
• Keyword blacklist (ban certain words in messages and prevent the bot from responding to them)
• Configurable small delay in replies to make conversation flow better (min: 0 (no delay), max: 3-5 seconds)
• Combine /toggle and /view-settings into new command /settings
• Modal forms for phrases and names for more user-friendly configuration, while retaining existing commands for users who prefer using them
• Create log files when bot crashes to diagnose issues
• Console command to configure cleanup thread timers for paginations, as well as storing those values in file

Outside of code changes, I'm also planning on creating a separate Markdown file for documenting the commands. For anyone using the bot - whether you're hosting the bot yourself or use the bot regularly on your Discord servers - I recommend downloading or saving the documentation in some way for easy access. It'll also be available to download alongside the .jar for the version release and any future releases moving forward.

I will also update the contribution guidelines to explicitly state my stances on vibe-coded and AI-assisted contributions, as development on the new version progresses.
