well Duh, I added comments in there that angular wasn't behaving the way I expected and hoping someone could take a look...

I don't use ngFor in my angular wrapper (use dynamic components) .

Hi @lingling-ding. See PR #1824. This is the wrapper I'm using. It's compatible with ngFor even when using a trackByFn and no tracked value changed.

Hi @lacroixdavid1 or @lingling-ding , I tried using the PR you referenced but for some reason nothing inside my ef-gridstack is rendering at all. I tried to just pre-load 2 items and in the DOM the ef-gridster-item does not render at all. I believe I'm using your PR almost 100% as I'm just trying to get it working before tweaking. Do you recall if you ran into this issue? I'm guessing I'm missing something obvious but I'm a bit new to Angular. Thanks!

UPDATE
I worked the issue down to where the elements to remove is happening. I had 2 items in my initial ngFor loop and it seems to remove both of them off the bat.

UPDATE 2
In case this helps anyone else out. You must use the gs-* attributes on the grid-items for the gridstack comparison or else it will not match up to your ngFor collection of items. I am able to remove widgets without issue. I can add a new widget and it seems snappy but then the second add seems to crash my app.

UPDATE 3
I have a button that adds an entry to my Item array which my ngFor is based on. The meta-data of the new item is pretty basic. The Id is unique but it just sets a height and width and doesn't specify an x or y. For some reason the first new item gets added totally fine but the second triggers an infinite loop in the gridstack.engine.js where the variable i just grows till it crashes.
