How to download

Hi, I'm quite new to all this, so I'm wondering how I can download and use this. Is it possible to add it as a custom skill within Claude, or do I run the code of the skill in an IDE?

I discourage you from using this as a Claude skill, as it defeats the purpose of layer B (aka rewriting).
Claude may re-inject watermarks without telling you.
That's the reason why we don't include a formal Claude skill in this repo.

I'm also new to this. What's the best way to download this to my Mac and use the tool? Ive downloaded the zip and when I open it in my terminal I never get it to run properly. As I'm new I must be doing something wrong. Could you give a guide on how to run the tool for a newcomer?

So, you could either use the skills for claude & co., run it natively in a python environment, put it into docker.
AFAIK there's no nice polished tool available. I've tried to put a gui around it and use the existing docker container provided by @guillaumemeyer. Try it https://github.com/sglogger/watermarks-remover-gui. My repository is an independent frontend. It contains none of the engine's code - not a fork, not a vendored copy, not a reimplementation. It runs the engine's own published container image and talks to its published HTTP API. I just wanted something to play around and learn about watermarking.
