Let's make it clear.
You should use a non-watermarking model to use this project.
A self-hosted model like Qwen on Ollama or similar ideally, one of the non watermarking models (for now at least), Grok, deepseek...

One feature idea I’ve been looking into for image_meta.py: native stdlib AVIF & HEIC metadata / C2PA stripping.

Right now image_meta.py handles PNG, JPEG, and WebP natively. But newer AI models (DALL-E 3, Midjourney, Imagen) and modern workflows are outputting more .avif and .heic files.

Both formats use ISO-BMFF (ISOBMFF) box structures. We could add a lightweight, stdlib-only box parser to image_meta.py that walks top-level boxes (ftyp, meta, iloc, idat), inspects/strips jumb / c2pa / uuid / XMP_ chunks, and rebuilds the box tree without needing external c2patool or exiftool binaries.

It keeps the stdlib-first rule and covers the remaining modern web image formats.

Happy to put together a PR with tests and fixtures if this fits the roadmap!

Just opened PR #85 with the native stdlib ISO-BMFF box parser, inspector, and stripper for AVIF and HEIC/HEIF (plus synthetic fixtures and 7 new unit tests). Clean roundtrip passes all 276 tests in the suite!
