Release 4.3

This is the latest release of the fourth generation of the Open eClass platform. The main changes are:

Exercises

  • Add the ability to define a degree of certainty for answers.
  • Improvements to the appearance of statistics.

Questionnaires

  • New Types of Questions (“Date”, “Date and Time”, “Short Answer”, “File Upload”)
  • Allow setting a question as mandatory
  • Ability to calculate a score for a question
  • Add a sub-question for an answer

Course Units

  • Improvements to appearance and functionality.

Learning Path

  • Improvements to SCORM support (in particular, progress tracking if the SCORM object supports it)

External Tools

  • Integration with the UniFlix academic video-lecture service

Course management

  • Import the contents of another course into an existing one

  • Improved input of mathematical symbols / LaTeX in the rich text editor, with a preview pane of symbols.

  • Allow users to select an alternative graphical theme

  • Security fixes
