Due to pkg_resources being deprecated and later removed from the default Python distribution (as of 3.12), users might get an exception due to pkg_resources not being installed.
When people land on the raw HTML version of the work, allow them to get to the current server's version of the /ebooks/ link. But display the canonical version of the URL in the text.
