How to create a statusbar in the bottom of the screen?

In order not to multiply topics I ask here.

1. Is There a way to add horizontal scrollbar in a Textview? To disable text wrapping.
2. It is possible to place two View - at left and at right? For example: a ListView on the left, but to the right - TextView to view content of items from a list.

1. No, TextView currently only supports vertical scrolling. There is a long~ish-term plan to add bi-dimensional generic scrolling, but we're not there yet.
2. You can use a LinearLayout::horizontal to split the screen in two views.

As a last resort, you can sometimes implement the View trait yourself, of use the dynamic alternative with Canvas, letting you define a custom draw method.

As for status bar, the current workaround is to have a LinearLayout::vertical() as a fullscreen view, composed of the main view (itself possibly another LinearLayout), and the status bar on bottom.

Panels (left and right) fill the space in proportion to self size. But I would like - for example in half.

The status panel is not displayed as a StatusBar, but competes with the top panels.

For the status bar, you can give it a fixed height of 1.

As for proportional dimensions ("take 50% of the width"), there's nothing directly for that yet.
