This project is a assignment in which I had to choose among several modifiers:
- "Transformers": The player can change its form, which results in the possibility to use different abilities (one for each form).
- "What The Hell": The game will be filled with enemies to kill or obstacles to avoid.
- "Success Island": The game is all about unlocking ridiculous achievements. A lot of achievements.
- "The Doctor": The player can go back in time during the game, the player can’t beat the game without using it.
Nowadays, in the current version of the game, I manage to apply 3 of these 4 modifiers:
- Transformers: Ariane's abilities
- What the Hell: enemies shooting bullets
- The Doctor: one of Ariane's ability
As Ariane, the player must kill enemies using her unique abilities to score the most points.
Thanks to her invisible automatic gun, Ariane is able to fire bullet every second.
In addition, she has 4 life points. As her health changes, she changes her current usable ability.
All abilities have unique power to influence the game. After Ariane uses an ability. It must reload before she can use it again.
Ariane rushes towards the cursor's position killing enemies on impact.
Ariane shots 3 waves of 20 bullets all around her.
Ariane reverses time to get where she was 2 seconds ago, killing enemies on impact.
Ariane becomes invincible for a short time. If a bullet touches her while she is invincible, it is reflected back to the enemy who fires that bullet.
More enemies are killed, more powerful they will become and more will appear. There is two types of enemies:
- Mono
- Multi
This type of enemy fires one bullet at a time. The more powerful it is, the more bullets it fires in a second.
This type of enemy fires multiple bullets at once. The more powerful it is, the more bullets it fires per shot.
- Fires on enemies as they appear
- Uses your abilities when you are in danger or to kill a large amount of enemies
- Avoid enemy bullets
