1. 🕒 Clock & Astro Screen (SCREEN_CLOCK_I)

Designed for bedside or desktop ambient display when radar activity is quiet:

• Time & Date: Synchronized via NTP with automatic Daylight Saving Time (DST).
• Outdoor Temperature & Weather: Current local weather conditions and outdoor sensor data.
• Sun & Moon Cycles: Dynamic sunrise, sunset, dusk, dawn calculations, and current lunar phase.
• Approaching Precipitation Widget: When precipitation is moving towards your location, displays a warning badge with precipitation type (Rain, Sleet, Snow, Hail), distance, bearing, and live ETA countdown in minutes. Tapping the widget navigates directly to the Weather Radar.
• Overhead Aircraft Widget: Displays callsign, altitude, and distance badge when an aircraft enters the configurable overhead radius (1–50 km).

2. 🧭 Compass / Circular Aircraft Radar (SCREEN_PLANES_I)

A polar 360° radar view centered on your exact geographic location:

• Concentric Range Rings: Clear distance markers radiating from your home coordinates.
• Directional Bearing Markers: Cardinal compass points (N, E, S, W) and 30-degree azimuth ticks.
• Heading Vectors: Small directional pointers indicating each aircraft's heading and speed.
• Relative Elevation & Proximity: Color-coded targets based on altitude.

3. 🌧️ Meteoradar / Weather Screen (SCREEN_METEO_I)

Real-time high-resolution precipitation radar map:

• Dynamic Provider Badges: The center loading badge indicates exactly which provider is active (SHMÚ, RainViewer, or ČHMÚ).
• Nowcasting Motion Vector Arrow: When storm cells are detected, a vector arrow on the radar shows storm motion speed and direction.
• Approaching Storm Banner: A prominent warning banner appears at the top if precipitation is on an impact path towards your station, showing speed, bearing, and estimated time of arrival (ETA).
• Reflectivity Legend: Bottom-screen scale showing precipitation intensity in dBZ (from light drizzle in blue to severe storm/hail in pink/white).
• Radar Animation Loop: Cycles through the latest radar frames to show storm velocity and track.
• Automatic Fallback: If SHMÚ or ČHMÚ experiences API maintenance, the radar seamlessly switches to RainViewer global composite.

• Country-Wide & Regional Zoom: Range options from local (10–50 km) up to maximum zoom (covering the entire territory of Slovakia, Czechia, and neighboring borders).
• 250 Aircraft Tracking: Capable of tracking up to 250 simultaneous aircraft across the entire sky without eastern blindspots.
• Flight Vectors & Altitude Tags: Displays callsign/flight number, altitude in thousands of feet, ground speed, and climb/descent rate.
• Emergency Auto-Focus & Halos: Automatically switches to Tactical view when an emergency squawk (7500/7600/7700) is detected, centers the view on the plane, and highlights it with pulsating red/white halos while pausing screen auto-rotation for 60 seconds.
• Geographic Boundaries: Vector border overlays showing national borders and major geographic landmarks.

5. 📅 Weather Forecast Screen (SCREEN_FORECAST_I)

Detailed multi-day meteorological forecast:

• Daily Trend: Daily minimum and maximum temperatures, rain probability percentages, wind speed, and weather condition icons.
• Hourly Breakdown: Graphical temperature curve and precipitation bar charts for the next 24 to 48 hours.

Real-time financial market telemetry powered by Yahoo Finance v8:

• 4 Configurable Tickers: Supports European ETFs (e.g. Amundi MSCI World, Stoxx 600), US indices, commodities (Gold, Crude Oil), tech equities, crypto, and Forex.
• Interactive Sparkline: Shows recent historical price curve for the active asset slot.
• Color-Coded Trends: Real-time percentage changes with green/red gain/loss indicators and asset category badges.
• Touch Interaction: Tap any ticker row to switch the active sparkline; double-tap screen to trigger immediate live price refresh.

• Interactive On-Demand Refresh: Tap anywhere on the screen to trigger an immediate live API update accompanied by an acoustic feedback tone (BEEP_ACTION_SUCCESS).
• Quota-Friendly Background Polling: Updates every 3 minutes when actively displayed, or every 15 minutes when running in the background.

9. ℹ️ Info & Zero-Reset Multi-Scope Flight Statistics Screen (SCREEN_INFO_I)

Airspace telemetry and daily traffic statistics recorded in high-speed PSRAM across 6 independent zoom scopes (ALL, $\le 10\text{ km}$, $\le 25\text{ km}$, $\le 50\text{ km}$, $\le 100\text{ km}$, $\le 200\text{ km}$):

• On-The-Fly Scope Cycling: Tap the traffic card header to cycle between detection scopes with zero data loss or reset.
• Unique Aircraft Today: Total count of distinct airframes tracked within reception range since midnight.
• Top Speed Record: Peak ground speed recorded today (in km/h or knots) with the responsible aircraft callsign.
• Maximum Distance: Farthest aircraft contact recorded today (in km or NM) with callsign.
• Altitude Envelope: Lowest and highest flight levels (FL min / max) recorded during the day.
• ADS-B Messages: Total volume of valid transponder position and status packets processed.
• Automatic Reset: All daily statistics automatically reset at 00:00 midnight or via the web interface button.

10. ⚙️ Settings & System Diagnostics Screen (SCREEN_SETTINGS_I)

Device hardware configuration, system health, and preferences:

• System Telemetry: Firmware version, internal heap and PSRAM free memory, uptime counter, and Wi-Fi signal strength (RSSI).

🌙 Ultra Night Mode

A dedicated sleep-safe display mode designed for bedroom placement:

• Renders all screen content in deep monochrome red against a pure black background.
• Hardware backlight dims to an ultra-low 0.5% duty cycle via hardware PWM.
• Completely eliminates blue-wavelength emissions, preserving rhodopsin (dark-adapted night vision) and preventing sleep disturbance.

✈️ Aircraft Detail & Photo Modal

Tapping on any aircraft on the Planes or Tactical radar brings up the aircraft inspection card:

1. Flight Info Card:

   • Callsign & Registration: e.g., RYR1234 / OM-ABC.
   • Aircraft Type: ICAO type code and full model name (e.g., B738 – Boeing 737-800).
   • Airline / Operator: Full commercial airline name or private operator.
   • Flight Telemetry: Real-time altitude, ground speed, vertical climb/descent rate, squawk code, and heading.
   • Origin & Destination: Departure and arrival airport codes (when route data is available).

2. Planespotting Photo Fetching:

   • The device makes an asynchronous background HTTPS request to the Planespotters.net API.
   • Streams and decodes JPEG/PNG spotter photos of the exact airframe using high-speed PSRAM buffers.

3. Smart Auto-Close Timer:

   • Once the photo and details are fully loaded and rendered, an internal 10-second countdown timer starts.
   • After 10 seconds of no interaction, the modal closes automatically so your radar view is never permanently blocked.
   • Touching the screen at any point instantly closes the modal immediately.

9. ⚙️ Settings Screen (SCREEN_SETTINGS_I)

Comprehensive on-device settings and telemetry hub:

• Interactive Backlight Slider: Drag-to-adjust display brightness from 10% to 100%.
• Network Telemetry: Real-time Wi-Fi status, connected SSID, signal strength (RSSI), local IP address, and mDNS hostname.
