• Smart Enhance: Added an intelligent enhancement slider (0–100%) in both the Color Adjustments overlay (real-time GPU) and the Batch Converter (bulk CPU processing). It balances colors, lifts shadow details, and recovers blown-out highlights automatically.

• Natural-Aspect Thumbnails: The thumbnail filmstrip now preserves original image aspect ratios. This eliminates redundant resizing passes and keeps thumbnail previews crisp and sharp.

• Automatic HiDPI Thumbnail Sizing: On first launch (or if unchanged in settings), thumbnail cache resolution is automatically calculated based on your display's scaling factor:

Note for users migrating from qimgv-plus: Windows may retain outdated file associations from the previous application. If some image files show blank icons or missing thumbnails after installing Wynpix:

• Windows 10: Open Settings → Apps → Default apps and select Wynpix as the default photo viewer. If the affected formats are not restored, use Choose default apps by file type to assign Wynpix to them.
• Windows 11: Open Settings → Apps → Default apps, select Wynpix, and assign it to the affected file types. Alternatively, right-click an affected file, select Open with → Choose another app, choose Wynpix, and enable Always use this app.

• SSE2 Build: For older processors. Requires at least an Intel Core 2-class processor or an AMD FX processor supporting SSSE3. Athlon 64 and Phenom processors are not supported.
