Merging branches?

I was thinking that maybe we could merge the master and multiplayer branch with some kind of mode (single- or multiplayer) selection screen at start... Is that a good idea?

This would make the original game dependent on Node.js as well, but I suppose that merging the branches is inevitable. Therefore I say, why not?
