I have a running HAJK 4.1 instance. As I have begun filling the Dokumenthanterare with text, I have run into difficulties. The option to link maps to text seems broken.
Alternative one: Attach a map link to a menu item.
This breaks the function altogether, no matter how I format the link.
Alternative two: Create a map link within the document.
This works to the extent that the map link is honored, but the document window closes. This is regardless of the setting "Stäng dokumentfönster vid klick på kartlänk" which seems to have no impact. This makes the link option less useful.
Also: During testing, a small dialog appears, "Lås fast verktygspanelen", for no apparent reason. This text disappears if the Dokumenthanterare menu is closed and reopened.

I need advice om how to format the map link because that seems t be the problem. The knowledgebase gives this sample:

A typical link from my system looks like this

Note the different parameters at the end.

Please try removing the clean flag from the url. Also, add p=documenthandler to links used in the document window. It looks like you have the app state in hash enabled (# in the url), and when clicking a link with p=<empty>, hajk will close all plugins.

Thank you for valuable hints. Unfortunately, none of them made any difference.
Adding a link to the Toc item breaks the plugin.
Adding a map link in the document text redraws the map but closes the document window. The link is not saved, or visible in the document editor next time the editor is opened.
Also, the map link is strangely rewritten

Note that the map name is written twice, once with a ? and once with a # prefix, and that 'documenthandler' is stripped.

I've never really used the admin interface for the documents, but try putting in https://webkarta.se/#m=stensho&x=453134.83613739914&y=6169636.38764112&z=10&l=1%2Cyar4z5%2C95ixwl&p=documentviewer

Ok. p=documentviewer solved the issue for a map link within the document. That works as expected now, but the link itself still disappears from the editor which makes fine tuning difficult. It has to be rewritten each time.
Adding a map link to the document menu still breaks the plugin, no matter how it is formatted. This is sad because that is what I really want to use. Also, the menu item must be deleted and re-done to reset the document handler to a working state.

Could you expand on "breaks the plugin"? There should be an error message in the console.

After some reviewing of the logs I found an error. For some reason (bug), the folder parameter was erased when adding a map link to the menu. Below are before and after snippets from the map config file. Since the plugin could not find the document file, it failed to open. That is what I meant by 'broken'. So I will have watch the map config file and manually correct it when adding map links.

Shall I file a bug report, or has this been resolved in 4.2?
Also, it would be helpful to update the Dokumenthandler 2.0 manual with the required 'documentviewer' parameter.
