Pokemon Showdown chat needs some features, so this supplements it by running a bot that responds to some commands in the chat or pms it recieves. If you would like to contribute, check the Wiki

If you have bundler (gem install bundler), you can do this:
bundle install
gem install eventmachine
gem install faye-websocket
# there might me more, check the Gemfile
ruby connector.rb -n USER -p PASS [more options]
Some more options are
-s: run a socket server to accept input (used to turn off triggers, etc)
-c: run an input loop to accept input
-r ROOM: join a room. Joins showderp by default
