Codex can now use Unified AI System through MCP
Unified AI System now has an active entry in the official MCP Registry and a dedicated, credential-free stdio container for Codex. The server exposes eight MCP tools for gateway chat and readiness plus read-only knowledge, workflow, and workforce inspection.
Connect in one command
Restart Codex after adding the server, then use
/mcpto inspect the active connection. What is independently inspectable

Safety boundary
The MCP preview exposes no deployment or arbitrary execution tools. Its managed local runtime defaults to the deterministic fake provider, and real provider access still requires explicit configuration and scoped authorization. This is a public engineering preview, not a production-readiness, L5 autonomy, or AGI claim.
Try it with Codex and share the first missing tool you would actually use. If the terminal-first direction is useful, star the repository so more builders can find it.
