Designing AI-Assisted Loops for Computing Systems
Website · Book · Tool registry · Readings · Workshops · Discussions
Architecture 2.0 is an open community hub for AI-assisted computer architecture and computing-system design. It connects a synthesis lecture, a tool registry, a curated reading list, workshop tracking, and shared artifacts for building auditable design loops.
The core idea is simple: as AI enters workflows for chips, accelerators, memory systems, simulators, compilers, benchmarks, and evidence generation, the design loop itself becomes something we have to engineer. A credible loop must make its state, actions, feedback, rejection criteria, evidence, and human commitment visible enough for others to inspect.
Architecture 2.0 is part of the mlsysbook.ai family of open learning and community resources.

You can also help by contributing:
| Contribution | Submit |
|---|---|
| Tool, dataset, benchmark, model, or workflow | Submit an artifact |
| Paper, post, talk, dataset, or reference | Submit a resource |
| Workshop, tutorial, CFP, or venue | Submit a workshop |

Accepted tools, resources, workshops, corrections, and artifact submissions are community contributions. We use the All Contributors convention so people who help shape the hub can be credited in this README.
Architecture 2.0 is not only a book. It is a shared coordination point for a new research community.
| Surface | Role |
|---|---|
| Synthesis lecture | A compact framework for auditable AI-assisted architecture loops. |
| Tool registry | A maintained index of simulators, proxy models, verification harnesses, benchmarks, datasets, and data representations, each tied to a role in an architecture design loop. |
| Reading list | A curated path through papers, SIGARCH posts, talks, datasets, and workshop writeups. |
| Workshop tracker | A community-maintained list of relevant venues and calls for participation. |
| Artifact hub | A coming-soon Hugging Face collection for datasets, models, examples, and reusable loop artifacts with clear attribution. |
| Discussions | A durable place for questions, proposals, and coordination. |
People who contribute tools, readings, workshops, corrections, examples, datasets, or artifact pointers help make Architecture 2.0 useful to the field.
