Home & Stack
Welcome to the php-book2 wiki!
Choose a technical home and go much deeper than most people are willing to go. My Tech home is PHP!!!
Your priority should be getting comfortable with things like functions, arrays, strings, forms, files, sessions, OOP basics, PDO/MySQL, error handling, classes, namespaces, Composer, and building complete small apps. Once normal PHP starts feeling natural, internals will make much more sense.
A good trigger point for starting PHP internals seriously would be when you can build a small app without constantly asking, “what function do I need here?” You don’t need to be advanced, but you should be comfortable reading ordinary PHP code.
