Occlusion

The ability to hide an object behind other objects. I.e. if a virtual object is under a table, then the table legs should block the image of the object.

Eyebox

The 3d region in which the eye can be placed and still see the entire display in focus.

Stereopsis

The lateral disparity between left and right images. The most powerful depth cue for distance up to 6-9 m. But can be effective up to a few hundreds of meters.

The process of converting different datasets into one coordinate system

Structure from motion (SFM)

Estimating three dimensional images from two dimensional image sequences.
