bump Go to 1.26

Updates the minimum Go version from 1.25.4 to 1.26.

• go.mod: Updated go directive to 1.26; ran go mod tidy to sync

All CI workflows already use go-version-file: 'go.mod' and will pick up the new version automatically.

Bumped golangci-lint from v2.6.2 to v2.11.4 in the lint workflow — the newer version is built with Go 1.26 support and should resolve this error. (commit 50b4b6a)
