Saving my own shapes(?) #109

The name is saved with the design, both in the browser and in the .lyl file, but there is no separate place for single shapes yet. A few ways to reuse a shape you need often:
The guide describes it under Files and saving → Importing. A list of your own shapes directly in the shape library ("My shapes") doesn't exist yet. It's a good idea, and I've noted it. |

This is in layerling 1.38.0, live on layerling.com now. It is called Custom shapes: Select the bodies you want to keep. Several are fine, holes and groups included. Several bodies come back together, placed as they were, and stay selectable one by one. Tiles can be renamed and deleted, and the section folds away. The shapes are kept in your browser, apart from the designs, so they are there again the next time you open layerling. Back up all on the start page now includes them. Two buttons in the section also back up and load just the shapes, for another browser or computer. If you run layerling on your own server with the shared store on, shapes can go there too and are then available on every device. Guide: Shapes → Custom shapes Thanks for the idea! If you find layerling useful, a small donation helps me keep improving it. Thank you! 🙂 |
Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
I know you can rename a shape. But is that saved anywhere?
Say I want to make a shape that I use a lot; how or where can i find that shape. Or can't I for now?
