@prmod3d, thank you, glad the loft is useful already. Both are possible, and I'll build them:
Both stay exact bodies, so edges can still be filleted and STEP keeps them. A transition that bends along a curved path, like a pipe elbow, is a different tool (a sweep along a path), so that is not part of this. |

Was not sure if my comment about this would be seen in an unrelated thread, so thought I'd create a more relevant one and post it again:
Wow, wow, WOW! Never thought I'd ever see a Loft feature in a Tinkercad-level design app. Layerling is truly rising above all the expectations I had when I went searching for a Tinkercad alternative/replacement a short week ago!
Am constantly amazed at what Stefan is able to integrate into this app... so I wonder if it's possible to enhance the Loft feature by post-rotation (or pre-setting) the top and bottom faces on the Z-axis in order to create a curved and/or angled loft section mating the two?
Pushing the envelope even further, is dual-face rotation possible (on the Z and X/Y axis) to enable the creation of some truly amazing results only available in premium CAD packages?
