@andrej-cds, thank you for the report and the video, it showed what happens. In your video the iPad starts its own text selection (the "Copy / Look Up / Translate" bar, and blue handles on the word "Select" in the long-press menu and on the toolbar on the left). Once that selection is active, your next touches go to the selection and not to layerling, so it looks as if the object stays in edit mode and nothing else answers. That is also why the left menu and the bottom line turned blue. I'm making the editor surface not selectable by touch (text fields stay as they are). I cannot try it on an iPad myself, so please tell me if it helps after the next release. |

In 1.82 i just tap one and another object and group/combine and its done. This is the point of using it...for me. Later i will again logged via your link, but i will also recorded so you will literalsee how much effort needs to be put to group 2 objects...you will be surprised 🙂. |

And one last thing...ipad is crazy fast...no difference between my server pc, laptop and imac...and all 3 comps are very strong in every aspect. |

@andrej-cds thank you, a recording of the grouping will help a lot: please include how you select the two objects, because on a tablet that takes a few steps (hold a finger still on an object, choose Select multiple, then tap the next one), and tell me which step is slow. About the Apple Pencil: it is treated as a pen and works like a finger, only finer on handles and points. Dragging a body moves it. If it does not move, two settings could be the reason: Select before moving in the settings (a body then has to be selected first, and only the next drag moves it), and Touch rotate in the camera bar (one finger or the pen then always turns the view). Do you have one of them on? And what happens when you drag a body with the pen: does the view turn, or does nothing happen? The chapter Tablet and touch in the guide has the gestures in one table. |

@andrej-cds good to hear, thank you for the video. I did not change anything on purpose that makes grouping faster, so I cannot say for sure what made the difference: two new versions came out in the last hours (1.90.0 and 1.91.0), and an app that is open for a long time on an iPad can still run an older version until it is reloaded. If it gets slow again, please write here and say what you had just done, then I will look at it with you. About the Apple Pencil you asked: if dragging a body with it does not move it, tell me what happens instead and which settings are on (Select before moving, Touch rotate). |

Not sure what and when you made update, but with 1.85-1.87 you can't do anything on ipad. I added 2 objects and once im touching 1st object...no matter what i do...it stays in editing mode and can't switch to another.long press add. menu but thats all...nothing to do. With another long press on object one...nothing...object 2...nothing...on table only left menu and bottom line became blue. This is in Safari and Chrome. Ipad is 13 pro M4 with latest ipados. And same is if im using apple pencil. After opening/closing safari or chrome all is the same with difference, that popup meni at long press not shows anymore. When i connecting with ipad via splashtop to my server and there run 1.87 on chrome...all works remotely...meni shows...editing working...all is fine.
