Navigating the history using the mouse wheel

Could you make it possible to use the mouse wheel to move forwards and backwards along the timeline in the history when the mouse pointer is hovering over the timeline?
This would make it easier to find a specific point, particularly when there are many intermediate steps.
Perhaps you could also include the option to press a key to move in 10-step increments, to jump forwards or backwards more quickly?

@ucito Good idea, thank you. In the history view the mouse wheel now steps through the states while the pointer is over the slider bar: up goes one step earlier, down one step later. Page Up and Page Down jump ten steps, Home and End go to the oldest and to the current state. This comes with the next release.
