I found what I was asking for under section view, but it would be nice if you could make an option to export touching workplane in SVG export. It´s a bit difficult to do in section view. |

Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
I maybe be wrong, but I don´t think so.
When exporting an object as SVG in LayerLink (LL), LL is looking from the top view and then exporting all what it "see" (The silhouette of the object). I this case I will say, that the SVG fil e is no longer a 2 dimensional file but a file converted from 3D to 2D.
I my opinion LL should ONLY look on what of the object that is actually touching the work plane from 0.00 to 0.01 mm. I this case the SVG export file will make a correct 2D file.
You can see what I mean in the file - this is the wrong way to export a SVG. Blue box is the SVG result reimported.
A solution could be having both versions as an option in LL. I can´t use the SVG export the way it is right now!
