Project Constellation is a privacy-first Chrome extension that preserves ChatGPT conversations, turns them into durable local knowledge, and helps recover safely when long chats or browser sessions become fragile.

Version 0.14.0 “Nightfall” is the production upgrade from the canonical v0.13.0 source. It adds a cohesive midnight, violet, and electric-blue identity; refresh-safe provider authentication; current ChatGPT.com compatibility; lower-cost DOM monitoring; deterministic recovery; and a standalone build, test, release, and documentation system. Execution Pulse now includes the permanent ⇄ Output Vault, which retains richer assistant revisions and recovers text, code, links, media, files, and builds if a refreshed provider page drops or shortens its previous output.

The canonical source is Herbertofury/Project-Constellation. ProjectDump is retained only as historical provenance; Project Constellation no longer depends on it.

Before enabling remote sync, read the privacy policy. Maintainers should use the production release process so the source, packaged artifacts, Wiki, and Drive checkpoint remain one verified state.
