Native full-width top status bar (tmux-powerline parity)

Problem

Coming from tmux + powerline, Herdr lacks a compiled-in status row that shows session identity, host/user/cwd/branch, and live host metrics without shell scripts, TPM, or external status commands.

Proposal

Add a full-width top status row above the sidebar/tabs:

Left: prefix indicator · session:ws.pane · host · user · cwd · branch
Right: LAN / Tailscale / WAN · wifi/vpn + throughput · mem · cpu · battery · date · time

Design decisions

1. Full-width top row spanning the entire client; sidebar and tabs below
2. Segment colors map to the active Herdr theme (not hard-coded Tokyo Night)
3. Metrics from Rust platform collectors only (no tmux/powerline shell out)
4. Responsive: drop right-side tail segments first on narrow widths, then non-essential left segments; never drop session identity

Working implementation (for maintainer review)

I already prototyped this on a fork while dogfooding:

• Branch: RaviTharuma:feat/native-status-bar (commit af5ac9d)
• PR was auto-closed by kangal-bot as first-time contributor — posting here first per project policy
• Tests: cargo test --bins status (82 passed); layout + identity/metrics characterization tests
• Build note: Zig 0.15.2 required for vendored libghostty-vt (0.16 fails readFileAlloc arity)
• Visual dogfood: throwaway session showed row 0 with session/host/user/cwd + IPs + mem/cpu/battery + datetime

Happy to adjust placement, segment set, icons, or collector scope to match Herdr’s product direction before any re-opened PR.
