What makes YOU decide to try out a "framework"/marketplace/plugin/etc.?

As someone who occasionally browses through dozens of emerging or "sky-rocketing" projects, it seems to me that the Claude Code marketplace marketplace is slightly... "saturated"(?)

What is it that grabs your attention or makes you want to adopt a specific set of resources for your OWN projects?

Is it personality (cartoon characters, for example)? Documentation quality? Reputation of the author? Stargazers? Trending Charts? Something "off-GitHub" (YouTube, HackerNews, Twitter (formerly X))?
