What

The full mk- family of minimal presentation-style registry items — the planned follow-up to mk-background (#1933), which is the family's backdrop and ships separately.

Blocks (7): mk-specs-list (checklist with draw-on hairlines), mk-callout-highlight (word-sweep karaoke highlight), mk-clone-wall-transition (text clone-wall with mix-blend hard cut), mk-placeholder-grid (rounded media grid with decorative wells), mk-line-graph (1–2 series draw-on graph), mk-progress-stat (count-up stat card), mk-logo-sting (outline logo closer).

Components (4): mk-cta-button (frosted pill CTA), mk-emphasis-type (background emphasis type), mk-pill-callout (capsule callout chip), mk-usage-arc (hairline arc gauge).

  • One shared --mk-* token block per item (ink/paper/accent/shadow/radius…) — hosts re-skin without editing items; every palette value is tokenized, no raw hex outside token declarations
  • Light/dark schemes where the item is scheme-bound; scheme-agnostic overlays documented as such
  • Seek-safe: single paused GSAP timeline per item, seeded RNG, no rAF / Math.random / Date.now

Why

Completes the minimal presentation-style set that #1933 opens: restrained motion, Inter typography, one accent color, capsules and rounded cards. Same clean-room approach — a re-implementation of widely used minimalist presentation conventions; no third-party assets or code copied.

Validation

  • hyperframes lint → 0 errors
  • hyperframes validate (contrast checks enabled) → no console errors, all text passes WCAG AA
  • Layout inspector → 0 issues
  • Determinism spot-check: mix-blend/backdrop-filter effects snapshot byte-identical across independent headless runs

Notes for maintainers

  • 11 commits, one per item — cherry-pickable if you want to take a subset
  • External contribution — catalog PNG/MP4 upload needs a maintainer, per CONTRIBUTING
  • docs/catalog/**/*.mdx pages generated with scripts/generate-catalog-pages.ts; wider regeneration churn (docs.json / catalog-index.json) intentionally not committed, consistent with feat(registry): mk-background — minimal procedural gradient background #1933

Preview reel — all 11 items back-to-back (59.9s, rendered with hyperframes render from this branch's item content, on the family's --mk-stage background):

t item
0:00 mk-callout-highlight
0:08 mk-clone-wall-transition
0:10 mk-line-graph
0:17 mk-logo-sting

0:36 mk-specs-list
0:44 mk-cta-button
0:48 mk-emphasis-type

Maintainers: the MP4 is the render source for catalog media if useful — happy to re-render any item solo at whatever spec the catalog pipeline wants.
