Internal Link Graph 🕸️

The headline feature — an interactive, visual map of your site's internal linking structure, built from the existing link scan.

• Auto-clustering — pages that link to each other group into their own "galaxy"; weakly-linked pages (fewer than 3 total links) form a separate cluster; true orphan pages (zero incoming links) sit outside all clusters, spaced apart.
• Color-coded by content type — posts, pages, products, and any custom post type or taxonomy each get their own color.
• Node size and edge thickness scale with link count — the most-linked pages stand out immediately, and connections between two strongly-linked pages render thicker.
• Focus mode — click any node to dim everything except it and its direct neighbors.
• Filters — toggle orphans, weak-link pages, or individual content types on and off.
• Search — highlight matching pages by title.
• Click a node for a fixed info panel (top-right) with view/edit links and a one-click "incoming links" report showing exactly which pages link into it — no page reload.
• Persistent layout — save your arrangement so it stays the same the next time you open the graph.
• Summary stats below the graph: orphan pages, pages with zero outgoing internal links, pages with a 404 link, and pages with a redirect link.

Wider link scanning

The broken-link scanner and the graph now also cover:

• Post excerpts and ACF/custom postmeta fields on posts and pages (not just post content).
• Custom structured relationship data stored in term meta (e.g. manually built "related categories" fields), resolved to real URLs instead of relying on raw HTML.

Notes

• Requires WordPress 6.5 and PHP 7.4.
• The internal link graph requires a link scan to have been run at least once (Broken Links page).
• Rank Math or Yoast is optional, used only for post-level internal link counts.
• After updating, we recommend running a fresh scan from the Broken Links page so the graph and stats reflect the new scan sources.
