Installed 0.14 from flatpak and now it will not detect radio. |

Did you trythe hint in #886? |

I had a chance to try it. lsusb shows the radio there, but it still is not seen by qdmr. I ran the command in the hint and also tried reinstalling from the flatpak. |

Can we convert this back to an issue since the hint didn't help. |

One more question, what is the VID/PID of the radio? |

Where would I find that? I do not recognize those. |

I have finally got it to recognize the radio only have it to give me the error "Unhandled device BTECH 'DMR-6X2UV PRO'. Device known but not implemented yet." On both v 0.14 flatpak and v 0.15 built from source. |

Well, I changed it and it worked. But now it's a new issue. It wont decryp the codeplug? ./qdmr --loglevel=debug |

Okay this is a more complex issue. Can you download the binary codeplug? That is zip it and attach it here. I need to reproduce the error to fix it. |

I would, but the dmrconf installed is not the one built from source, so it complains it isn't implemented yet. Where would it be from the source build? |

I thought I updated firmware late last year, but my radio says it is still on V1.20. I will update and get back to you if it changes anything. |

I tried with the 1.21a firmware, and it gave the same error. |

I was able to write to the radio, and it seems to have worked. I saved the old codeplug so we can test later. |

It does read once it has been written to. This is very workable. I will just rebuild my codeplug for both radios. Thank you for your work on this. If you are going to work on reading the codeplugs written from the BTECH CPS, I will happily help test. |

I noticed after a while that the arrow keys no longer change the zone. I don't think they do anything at all. I wrote a old data file to it and they came back. I do not see any place for editing those in the settings on either CPS. |

Ok good news! Changing the default encryption key fixes the read issue. I have the two codeplugs for you. |

Uh, there are tons of differences between these two codeplugs. For now, I have not found anything suspicious. |

Gosh, got it. I should have googled my own project. The first result was: #203. These flags are not touched by qdmr for the DMR6X2 and DMR6x2Pro. |

I should have also, but I didn't realize how similar the BTECH and AnyTone are. |

Side note. The codeplug for my DMR 6x2 works great on my Baofeng DM-5R! |

If you cannot detect or read a device, please include your report
groupslsusbor output ofdmesgafter plugging the device in.dmrconf --verbose detectWell now that I see this, I realize that the package installer did not install the recent version. Include instructions to install from source.
